With a straight-piped FD, running a little more rich than normal, is it necessary to buy one of those rear bumper guards or is that just some marketing ****?
Also, I'm very handy with a welder and torch. Can i basically just cut the cat out of any exhaust, and replace it with tubing of the same diameter and width? |
With the cat on the fd, this is not really possible/a good idea.
Just spend the 100 bucks and buy a midpipe.. the bumper guards really are marketing. Tune your FD correctly and you shouldnt have the melting assoiated with flameyfd's |
