my holley 600 series (4150) secondarys are constantly dripping. i rebuilt the carb because they were doing this. obviously it didnt fix the problem. primarys are fine, as far as i know. car starts and runs. but obviously not that good cause the sec. are just constantly leaking.
it use to be vacuum secondary i think. everything on that side has been removed. there is a screw on the throttle linkage that that opens the secondarys the same time the primarys open. its called bridging the carb from what im told.... what could be the problem??? |
Check your float level, check engine vacuum(good and steady), and check the power valve and its gasket on that side.

has to be the floats

There is a place that I get my Holleys from that I can garauntee you will out perform any other Holley 600 you ever used. PM me if interested. Not RB.

lowering the float level fixed it. i just dont know how much i lowered it now. theres just a screw instead of sight bowls on my fuel bowl :(
|
Adjust on a level surface, bring the fuel up til its just cresting into the sight hole about to flow out.
Do this while the engines running of course. |
cool, thanks...
