impression..

great construction..

installed fcd as well..

t2 now certainly feels like a stock fd..

tone reminds me of my ol fd setup - pettit dp and mp with rb duals..

minor issue: the driver side hangs a bit lower than the pass..

all the efforts to get her straightened was for naught..

its slight but im picky that way..

ed *uniqueTII* said he used a zip tie to adjust it so its 100% straight. its a gorgeous exhaust https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

j9fd3s 03-15-2003 10:28 AM

don't use zip ties... they may belt... use hose clamps..

=)

May melt?, I bet on most definitly melting.

rx7machine 03-16-2003 11:31 AM

Any pics?

onboost 03-16-2003 12:16 PM

some times hose clamps rocks off of the hooks. Make sure they are super tight....

amp 03-20-2003 07:23 AM

left it alone for a bit as i knew i needed to retighten them after its been heated..

checked it this morning...certainly looks like it adjusted into place and is now even..

without the use of extra clamps..

time to get the dual alt pulley..hearin slippin on the wp pulley

vosko 03-21-2003 01:28 PM

that is a good $20 to spend https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

sadly.. depiction of the car from the picture is not entirely true

appreciate the comments but shes in need of paintwork..

the car was neglected .. previous owner was a smoker with dog..

needless to say and to put it mildly... unbearably filthy

the interior required 2 days worth of cleanin..

and had to replace the seats due to grime and stains..

carpet will be replaced as well..

ended up cuttin two layers of paint for the exterior with compound ..

great deal of oxidation..scratches and dings...

most of which still remains....

dirt on the wheels are baked on it seems..tried various cleaners to no avail..

currently spot cleaning the undercarriage from rust spots as per rob's suggestions...

so all in all...picked her up with resto in mind...

itll be awhile before shes as presentable as she is in digi pics...

but shes comin along
