been runnin with the stock pulley since air pump removal
getting concerned about the contact patch for the water pump decided to stop procrastinating and install the piece... not to mention the previous owner havent replaced the belts air ratchet wasnt enough had to use air gun with pivot socket to avoid removing the fan shroud for clearance although had to lift the ic to get some height on the alternator to be able to use it.. even with the pivoting socket extension didnt reuse the stock washer..extra width on the pulley did not provide for it tried usin the factory size belt for the rb alt pulley but couldnt maneuver it to fit.. had to make a return trip to the parts store for a belt two sizes larger dual alt pulley .... fresh start vbelt 15325 11av0825 power steering .... dayco dynaflex vbelt 17385 ac .... dayco dynaflex vbelt 17420 |
you had better luck than I did! I have to take my alternator apart now...

check your tension
you need to reset the tension after runnin the car.. check the manual for exact numbers the rule of thumb is .25in deflection along its longest span.. |
