"Self-clearancing"

My Question: Where does this hard material go when it "self-clearances"?

Another Question:

You make the following statement" "I do know it fully cures at 3000degs"

Does the applicator fully cure the product when applying, or does he send back an application; that is not fully cured?

If he does cure the the finished product at 3000ºF, how do they account for the warping and the dimensional shift?

How thick is this coating applied?

Excess Bearing and pump coatings come out with the first oil change.

Internal coatings go out the exhaust.

The heat rejection coating is not fully cured, only flash temps of the combustion chamber can do this.

A constant oven temperature of 3000+ would melt the coated application.

I just ran a coated motor up to 200 miles over the past weekend.

The side housings coated did not scarp off, they are working.

I could not see the rotor housings, but I will be tearing apart a motor in the future.

As I expected the heat rejection coatings on the rotor, sleeves, and header looked fresh as new.

Kevin I have several housings of many different condition that I am going to test.

Yes, it appears it will not revive housings that have apex seal damage.

Its only going to be used to fill minor imperfections, such as flaking, and shallow scratches. I am hoping this process will not be used just for restoring slightly worn housings, but for increasing performance. IE: a good upgrade for even new housings. I just got done ultrasonica cleaning 2 different motors for the side by side comparison test. Hopefully in a few months I will know the results when I put them on the engine dyno.

On a side note I have been seeing great results with the thermal coatings, oil temps appear to be drastically lower even when pounding on vehicles. I am also assuming a nice jump in gas mileage, but I have been unable to setup a car properly to test..I will post information when I have more results.

Any progress?

If everything goes to play I will have a side by side comparison here in the next 3/4 weeks.

Numbers will be off an Evo8 that has the intake and exhaust manifolds, along with the turbine housing and the downpipe. I'm going to also see if they will go for doing the turbine wheel also.

Some people are so insecure its unreal, why people care what other people say or think on the internet is beyond me. The only reason I even bothered posting is because I am having fun pissing GMON off, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

I haven't sold anything on the internet, and don't plan to I don't care anymore, but greg sure is getting worked up over this...

So why did you delete my post three times and the other posts that people made?

I guess becuse the truthful and informative information made in that link made you feel insecure.

The fact that a moderator is allowed to get away with this behavior on this board really sux. Nopistons is by far the most grass-roots down to earth rotary place there is. I hope it stays that way.

Any shop that has that many Lambos in the background surely can pay for advertising to the board owners. That way you dont run into problems like this again.

So here is the link once more.

That thread has no bearing on this topic here. You are trying to say I purposly misinformed people by saying these coatings are good to a much higher temperature to gain sales, was any of that information stated here? No, you are just trying to be a jackass and make me look bad thats all, so yes I deleted your posts.

And FYI the HS GOLD is good for temperatures a lot higher than that guy stated, just because someone calls a company does not mean they are going to be let in on all the information. I am going to clear up a lot of this, this coming tuesday when I fly out to meet with Polydyn.
