well i think a turbo is out of the pic so i am left with a nitrus system in mind.. i have a 12a stock port with a racing beat 48mmdhlra carb setup, what would be some good recemends for custom work or kits????? i would'nt be spraying much but was thinking like a 100hp or 75hp shot??? or shots.....

As long as you get a wet kit you'll be fine. I would jet the gas side 2 pills up to make sure it runs on the rich side. Also retard your timing about 2°. Maybe more.

I used to run a 75 shot on my 89GTU. It was pretty sweet.

Wet huh? I always thought you'd be better off with a dry kit on a carb. Might be a rotary thing, or just a prefrence, not that I don't like wet, I prefer it.. :P

yes, wetter is better

How do you add fuel when you spray with a crb. setup? I am unsure if its possible to tell a carb setup to spray more fuel.

I would say wet for sure. I would look into getting a plate made up that goes right under the carb and has spray bars in it. That would be the perfect setup. Otherwise I am sure you could spray into the intake somewhere sort of like a direct port setup.

I would go wet the insurance is then there for it to run on the rich side and not lean out.

I agree, a plate setup would be optimum.

so wet would be the way to go huh?? i was thinking the same...

and the setup that i had in mind would be taped into the manifold its self....

ie. 2 nozzles (or whatever there called) one on each side of the manifold for each rotor....

it is the racing beat weber dellorto manifold.. tell me if you don't get how it would hook up then i geuse i could draw a picture of what i had in mind.
