im turboing my gsl-se and i was wondering if there was an option for me to use another air flow sensor or if the stock one would suffice, any info from the rotor gods would be appreciated https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

You're refering to the air flow meter. Whichever ecu you plan on running, use the corresponding afm. I have seen n/a afm's used with t2 efi..

the problem with the gsl-se is that the afm is too small in the first place, AND its electrically wierd, so you can put in a larger second gen one.

the problem is that the gsl-se afm is 100% open on an na at 4500rpm (this is with headers), and by 5500ish its too lean to keep running.

it would just be worse with a turbo.

you have 3 options

1. retrofit the fc/fd stock efi, its a lot of wiring

2. add a couple more injectors and a controller, this is a decent budget way to go, and you keep the stock efi driveability

3. go with a full aftermarket ecu, its really the best way but its expensive (relatively)

One advantage here is that you get the better FC ignition, also with a TII ECU you will get whatever timing correction the TII does for boost. With the GSL-SE distributor you have to find some other way to handle boost retard (maybe the advance diaphragms from a 12A turbo?)
