What up, everybody! I've owned a '85 GSL-SE for about a year. The engine died, and I was broke at the time so I bought an used excellent condition '84 GSL-SE engine for a few hundreds. I decided to eliminate the EFI and go for carburation (some say it's crazy, but what the hell, it's done). I worked with my buddy on his '80 12A going from stock carb to Holley, not hard at all. We eliminated emissions and cut the engine wiring harness (not needed). But, on my GSL-SE it's a lot different, it has the ECU and a few other different things. I eliminated all emissions, put headers, put Holley, put a 7psi Carter fuel pump (pain in the ass), and cut the engine wiring harness (left about six inches of wires in case I need them). Well, we got it together yestarday and we started it. It started just fine (carb needs a little adjustment, but that's just normal), we did a couple of times and good. We started it again, but when I tried to quit the engine, it kept running with the switch off. I took the keys out of the ignition and the engine was still running (the key switch it's good).
Can anybody help me? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif Did I cut anything I wasn't supposed to? Did I missed anything? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
