Tell me what you guys think. Its a little pricey right now, but hopefully I can get it down quite a bit. Added Rigidity to your FEED engine brace, or this one alone.

looks pretty neat how they got it set up. The thing I dont' like though is where it mounts. That bracket(the alternator bracket) attaches to the water pump housing via one 12mm bolt. I've had that bolt hole strip out before so I would advise double checking it where it connects to the housing before putting it on.

Im thinking the design is based more on the tensile strength of the bolt, not the thread that much. I will play with it a little though. I cant put it on my car but im sure I can find some volunteers.

I've seen ones that bolt where the power steering and ac bracket goes... And to the frame from there...

But that's for those with no A/C P/S

woah... didn't u say FC engine torque brace too? I don't see a FC engine bay in that pic.

That is a FD engine bay with the optional front strut bar.

I could make that thing for 5 bucks (no offesense of course)

Where is the FC one? i still haven't found a way to make a good FC one... my plan was to make a plate from hardended steel and paint it... then have it bolt underneth the strut tower bar on the passneger side shock tower and run a bar with two rod ends, one to plate another to somehwere on engine... May require removal of air pump.

But that is just me thinking and not doing **** all.

the thing that stands out to me isnt where it attaches to the engine but the other side of the brace. will it work with other strut tower bars? that is the side i would be interested in. just seems like you need the oem bar for it to work

Yeah Im working on the FC pic.

Original strut brace for now, I will talk to the guy making them and see

what they can do for the US guys hehe

I showed this to an racing team engineer pal here.

'This device feeds the rotational torque of what could be a very powerful engine with a high momentary shock load as the clutch drops via a pressed metal strip and an aluminium casting that is just as much air hole as metal, neither of which are designed to transmit force in that plane. What do you think will happen after a few load cycles?' he said.

Did you ask about the FEED or any other brace anyone is making?
