I need both mounts for my FC. Will FD mounts work? What about mazdaspeed, r they stronger than stock? I'm not thinking mazdacomp cause they dont sell them to non-members anymore.

are they the same for turbo/na???

TIA

Vert motor mounts are stiffer than the coupe ones.

i heard some people used hockey pucks. u can try that out. they had no problems with it

banzaitoyota 03-28-2003 09:21 PM

I've heard the hockey puck thing too...not a bad idea

Manny 04-02-2003 04:41 PM

You guys are too much...hockey pucks??? doesnt it have to be cold outside for them to work properly? LOL

I've heard of 2X4 being used also.

I ask about something better than stock because i left out the fact that this would make my 2nd or 3rd set. And the last time I changed them, the passenger side one only lasted a few weeks.

I wish they had lasted 13 years....definately pick up a new set if that was the case.

Serious about the hockey pucks. Stack 2 or 3 together, drill a hole in the middle and bolt it in. Way cheaper then stock ones.

I have the Mazdacomp from mazdatrix mounts in my car.. I figured since my stock ones were mush i better replace them with something.. I never had good stock ones to judge a difference off of though.
