couldnt resist...
shes feelin sluggish at low end.. and for reliability reasons.. just cant keep her stock any longer... |
well isnt that the best way to keep the rest of the car stock https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png otherwise your turbos and engine wont be stock for much longer....hehe
|
Screw stock. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
Oh yeah. But I'm jaded. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Nice downpipe btw. Is it stainless? Before you put it on, weld a bung for a future O2 sensor (make sure you put the bung on or within a few degrees of vertical and in a place where there's enough space overhead when mounted to hold the sensor, of course). https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png You'll be glad you did when the rest of the car becomes not-stock. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Or when you just want a wideband to see how she's doing. |

of which will be used for a wideband.. shes stainless.. gettin coated with jethot2k |
The o2 bung for a wideband must be at the other end of the pipe... not right at the turbo exit, otherwise you'll fry the sensor. It needs to be at or near the exit flange for the pipe. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I have mine actually in my midpipe, not the downpipe. Hence why you need another one. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
Jethot is the ****. I have my exhaust manifold coated with it and when I get a stainless DP I'll coat it as well. |
didnt realize they were that sensitive...
not lookin to leave it on there permanently.. hhmmnn... last few times the other fd dynoed... the o2 bung was used for the wideband.. same pettit downpipe... |
my o2 is right next to my turbo and I haven't had any problems with it.
You might want to pull it out once a month and put some more anti-sieze on it, because a year next to a turbo will weld it into place. |
received this today from gooroo new...
|
fret not with the mp..
