Planning to get a a full exhaust system on my FD
my plan is to get a downpipe and midpipe and to fit a silencer in the midpipe to keep it more silent the choices are for the catback here are the requirements: 3" alltheway full stainless (304 or 302) perfect fit and bolt on i really like the M2 with double tips (quite expensive) is it loud? i really don't like loud exhaust (also the cops don't) so it would be fine to have one of those fit-into-tip silencer like the Apexi one i really like also tha Bomz version with turnable/tunable silencer that can also be put out, but is only produced in 2.5" inlet version https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png any suggestion? thanx a lot |
I switched to the racing beat dual tip catback to quiet down my exhaust. I think it is about the best you are going to be able to do with respect to noise. Also, check out a resonated midpipe. (this is basically a midpipe with a freeflowing muffler welded in.)

Go with either the m2 dual or racing beat, they are by far the best sound wise. I ran the m2 with downpipe and midpipe and it was very tolerable.

Dyno reports show the best power gains. I know HKS is up there for all cars in general. But I heard their downpipe sucks.

I like RE-Amemiyas that I have, but $$$
The downpipe is all custom since the HKS one for my T04E kind of sucks |
i just put in a down pipe, mid pipe, and racing beat dual, and the exhaust noise is very tolerable, im surprised that it isnt louder, i love it

Sorry for the dumb question. What size is the exhaust typically on a single turbo car? T78 car or similar. Im new to rotarys. Again, sorry.

PFS cat back is great. Light, free flowing, good looking and a nice tone.

3-4" Pipe
