So yeah.. i can get a killer deal on the EBC slotted and dimpled rotors for my car, and green stuff pads, but i would like to know if anyone has personal experience with em or not. I do alot of hard braking on the highway when i go out and run with the supras (hehehe) so i dont want something thats gonna fade, or gonna cause alot of brake dust, and i heard that green stuff pads are good on that. So any input is great.. thanks!

I've never heard anything bad about them. Go for it, but let us know what you think

i have heard good things about them..... but just like 93 r1..... no experience

I ran the green pads on my FC for a while. They were pretty good on the street but didn't hold up so well at VIR at a track event. They took one event in stride but on the second event they nuked after about 40 minutes and backing plate met rotor.

oh, and the dimpled and slotted rotors are pure rice. Get plain discs or slotted.

FikseRxSeven 04-03-2003 10:25 PM

cross drilled and slotted will eat up the break pads that you're about to buy

Benny 04-04-2003 03:29 PM

how is it pure rice? its supposed to vent heat from the brakes... and the dimpled ones are less prone to crack than the actual drilled ones...

They will be fine for the street. You don't want to use them for hardcore track use

i dont auto-x or road race. so yeah.. i think imma try them out... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

I've had them on my car since the aug of 2001 (only put about 7,000miles on it a year). I'm very happy with them. They don't squeak or dust and bite more aggressively than stock once a little bit of heat gets in them. They do seem to wear faster than the stock pads though.

I will probably replace them before the end of next month. I'm thinking of going with the EBC yellows (one step up). For what it's worth Max Power magazine rated them as the #1 pad awhile back.
