Looking to upgrade my diff to one of the Cusco units..from what I gather, the MZ ramps up pretty quickly while the RZ offers a more gradual transfer of power. Anyone know if one is stronger than the other? Anyone know a good dealer that has decent prices on these units?

Not sure if you are already set on a Cusco unit but Quaife has some great products and they offer a limited lifetime warranty on their differentials; even when raced. :]

think they'd stand up to a 450-500rwhp third gen on the strip? Street tires?

get the RZ ? which ever one locks up harder.... i just read it the other day.... its a clutch diff it will take abuse https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Just downloaded their 2004 parts/price list. No mention of an FD rear differential.

MZ is 1.5, RZ is 2 way, right? i believe strength wise they should be the same, its just how you want it to react, either all-the-time or some of the time

I think you might want to consider getting a Kaaz LSD only because I was in your shoes before and wanted a Cusco. What swayed my decision was a buddy reminded me that Cusco has no representation in the US while Kaaz does. There is not Cusco USA/NA so if you have any problems, you have to deal with Cusco Japan. Just my $.02.

Thety're both 1.5 way although you can order them 2 way as well. www.napsusa.com is the official distributor of Cusco products in the states, so they have as much representation as KAAZ. Cusco diffs are rumored to be even stronger than the KAAZ diffs.
