Hi everybody!

I am running premix in my 20b thus no need to inject primary oil into combusion, that is the best primary oil for my application?

I can get TRD 10w40 here locally or import from USA.

I guess it could be any good syntetics oil for pistons engines like mobil1 5w50?

please advice!

thanks

Ivan

royal purple 2 cycle oil is good don't use heavy motor oil. you should use 4oz. on a 2 rotor but not sure for a 20b.

AMSOIL just came out with a smokeless 2 stroke oil called saber profesional. It replaced it's 100:1 premix.

and amsoil is off the shizzy https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

You cant use 4cycle motor oil!! The reason for 2cycle is because of its mixing and burning abilitys with gas. Any high grade synthetic Two stroke oil like Mobil 1, Redline, Royal purple, Amsoil will work....just make sure when reading the bodle it says its TCW on it

thanks for advice! but i asked about primagy engine oil, not premix oil.

As long as I am running premix primary engine oil will not be injected to the engine.

My OMP system is blocked.

Which oils are good for the rotary if we are not injecting it?

As for 2 stroke injection oil then I use Motul 2 stroke synthetics for motobykes.

Is that ok?

I would go with a synthetic primary engine oil. I use 15W50 synthetic.

This has long been argued as to weather a good synthetic can/should be used in a rotary.

From my personal experiance.

I had in the past used Castrol GTX 20w50 in my tII and I Autocrossed a lot. Autocrossing is brutal because you pushing yor car really hard for 35-75 seconds then STOPPING.

I switched to Amsoil 20w50 synthetic racing oil. My engine temps were noticable lower than before. I am convinced it works great in a rotary. I even ran it in my REW for about 10K miles while the OMP was still pumping. When the engine was tore down it was spotless inside no buildup.

I personally will be going back to it once my streetport is broken in nice and good. I have about 2K miles on it now and will switch back to Amsoil at about 3K miles. BTW- I change synthetic every 3K miles and regular oil evey 1500 miles, again my personal choice.

You can usually get it from a local parts store like napa or similiar, (autozone won't have it).

Or you could just take the next step and pay like 20 bucks a year and become your own prefered member. You get a lot better price and get the stuff shipped right to you. They have distrobution points all over the us, so you recieve most stuff in 3 days.

www.amsoil.com

I get the 12 pack of 8oz bottles and use a whole bottle for a fillup. That's actually a touch rich for amsoil because it is very concentrated, but it just seems easier to me to do it that way.

FYI the great oil debate.

only Redline and Amsoil are made from a plant based stock( higher heat and shear properties from the start). All the rest are from

same oil base stock. While they' re a big difference in how good a process makes each those two are the best. Castrol had been in a suit with false claim against its syntec because it comes no where close.Other manufactureres and watch dog group feel the claim a synthetic must meet specified requirements so they dont all get screwd because of the few. Mobile One is one of the best also not of plant base stock.

ROYAL PURPLE is the biggest mrketing win for an oil product next to SLICK 50.

this stuff is so cheap and is made so fast I see DRUMS of it all over to mixed with

drilling fliuds(cement) then disposed why get into who know what on this , its like religion and politics.

Yea I know there are die hard fans who would refuse to look outside their sales.
