Is there such a thing? I just got through looking at the mazdatrix system. That's a LOT of money for an exhaust, not even counting the header. Does pacesetter make something a little closer to reality? I do NOT want a fart can in any way, shape or form. Something low and mellow works for me. Like an old Monza style. Are there any new designs that sound that way? Anyone running a flowmaster type with a shop built system?,,,,BB

you have to get racing beat headers

DO NOT go with monza or pace setter, cracks under the heat (under racing conditions)

cost me 100 to do myself or $200 for some one else to do it for you

stay away from flowmaster, LOUD isnt the word.



get an rb, or isc or pm banzai for a header, and then build a system from that. RB makes a 3" presilencer thats quiet, and then basically anything on the rear of the car will work

Okay, sounds good, but I have no idea what the abbreviations mean? I may just get a header and get a custom exhaust done, with a new cat, etc. It may not pass emissions without a replacement unfortunately. If the emissions exempt status jumps a year like it usually does, then next year my car should be, according to my brother. I have not looked into it lately, as far as cutofff date. That! will rock. I will strip that junk so fast it will make your head spin around, hehe.,,,,BB

That's a decent deal, but you probably won't pass emissions with a header no matter what you do. And if you use an aftermarket cat, chances are it will burn up in short order.



If you are close to being free from emissions requirements, then I would recommend that you wait until that time before you mess with the exhaust, air pump, or rat's nest.
