I had been thinking of adding nitrous to my n/a for more hp. My concern is emissions when it comes time for inspection. See, Texas is pretty strict about this. How does it pass emissions testing? I don't thnk it effects the actual testing because it would not be active in the speed ranges they use for testing but will it pass the visual inspection? Anyone know?

Nitrous don't get activated on partial throttle, and usually not at low rpm. So when its not activated, the smog reading should not change.

I don't know about in TX. In CA, they pass your smog inspection if the nitrous system is disconnected.

I am getting to the point here in Texas, that it is worth doing these mods, like nitrous, high flow cats and such, then removing them or hiding them until the car passes inspection then sticking them back on again. Texas is getting really strict. Pisses me off all them god dam tree huggers. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
