i blew my jeep 258 couple of weeks ago so i decided to go for the small block chevy swap. got a '76 PU 305 engine with transmission and transfer case. listed as 140-150 hp and 240-260 lbs of torque...a bit more than the 258.....anyone with jeep v8 swapping experience here? i wanna know how long it took you

I would get a AMC 360 or even a 304 and keep it all jeep

If you could get a 401 that would be even better!

I was under the impression you could keep the jeep drivetrain

by using a adaptor for the tranny?
