A couple of months ago, I got a beater Dodge ram 50, which is a Mitsuishi Mighty Max Pickup.

My truck has a 2.4l, 8 valve, 4g64. From what I can gather, it is a stroked version of the DSM motors.

So, WHERE is there a good mitsu forum?!?!? I'm looking to power up my poor truck, and I can't find any good info. I'd like to drop a 2.0 16valver, or a 2.4 from a stratus, or something... But all I find are THAT some engines are wide block, and some are narrow, not how to tell them apart.

Can anyone offer any help...?

4g64 is in the galants I believe..they use that crank ona 4g63 to stroke it. I've seen a few swaps into that truck with the 4g63...I don't know anything off the top of my head...have you tried dsmforums.com or dsm.org

there is a lot of dsm forums.
