The Saturn sky (same car, different name) looks even more promising, with the potential of a supercharger. At that's what I think I read in motor trend.

i was hoping it would be an s2k killer but i guess it will just be a miata killer. i just cant believe the price.

yea, ive been following both of em for about a year now and saw both of em at the NY auto show. got some pretty cool pics of each. I really like the way the sky looks, its basically the same car that will replace the Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220 in europe, except i think they are gonna get some turbo engines w/ 240 or so HP. None of those are planned for the US bound versions. I just wish they were a little lighter, they are like 200 lbs heavier than a miata
i thought it was mid engined or rear engined? it needs a factory turbo or supercharger! |
If that happens they will never sell. The chassis on that is suppposed to be super-versatile - I think what they mean by this is that they're going to sell it under a load of brands. If GM is going to do this, they'd be better off using Lotus's new chassis which actually is versatile - front or mid engined and will be used on all their new cars from the Elise to the new Esprit and 2+2. looks good. pretty much copy of the miata in looks department.
Both of you are so funny. No seriously. Where was the rx8 engineered and manufactored? not here. WoW your name has rowtar in it. I hope that was as funny as yours. Nothing good came out of american cars since the early 70's. And I hate american cars.
You are just a bitter person that is all. So compare an RX-7 from 1993 to say, a Camaro from 1993. Which has actually lasted longer? Lets not compare speeds, 1/4 mile times, all that jazz. Let's compare reliability, mileage on the original motors. THIS IS A CAR FORUM, WE CAN TALK ABOUT ALL CARS. |
