I'm probably gonna be swapping a v8 into the 7
don't bitch me out, it won't do you any good what I need are the air flow numbers, like cfm of intake and exhaust it will more than likely have a 383 stroker build with about a .500 to .550 lift cam, aftermarket pistons and rings, and lots more. |

naw, I have a turbo that I'm considering using, and I want to see it they will work together.
|
and thank you for being mature and not flaming me for doing a v8 swap like most people have.

it would depend on the compression of the engine
which would be determined by the pistons and the heads then you would need to select the proper cam shaft that puts the power in the range you would need it. You would also have the deal with tunning the car afterwords, not sure if your thinking of going carb or not, but a standalone fuel injection system will run about $1000 and im not sure how adjustable one like that would be if you tried to use a stock efi set up then you would still need to reprogram the ecu to work with the turbo. |
its goin carb'd, I don't feel like going through the expense or trouble of stting up a injection system. and i like carbs better anyway.
|
might I suggest a 850 double pumper then
|
Thats what I was thinking also. I like the Demon Carb's Or edelbrock. I've always had great luck with them on engines that I've worked on in the past.

My buds 383 does real good with his 650dp. He made 485bhp with it.
