im pretty much looking for a reliable car that will get good gas milage becauseit will be driven about 150 miles a day

will last the excessive drving without breaking

have the basic comforts and less than $19000

if any of you guys own any of these cars or can suggest other options, please chime in

im leaning towards the mazda3 but im questioning its longevity and the jetta but its a bit pricy

power is not very important right now

thanks

I have a feeling the Jetta would make your money back on fuel economy as long as you go with the diesel.

the new jetta might, but the old one will fall apart on you, my friend's sister has one that is doing just that. Toyota Corolla? I think the Sentra's getting replaced soon too. Of the choices, id say the Honda.

one word civic

they new jettas are amazing, but are a bit expensive, i got to ride in the new jetta gli with a pro driver and i loved it, but for the price and reliablility i would go with civic

I would go with the Honda as well. Based on what I have seen with the Mazda 3 and Nissan Sentra don't seem to have the best qualtiy. And the Toyota Corolla is so plain especially next to the new Civic.

hmmm the only thing about the new civic is they look like they're minivans... you know the old toyota previa, or the old pontiac illuminas? i sat in it and its kinda weird inside...

i test drove the mazda3 today, and the interior was very tiny, but the 2.0L offered 35mpg on highway.... only thing that can do better than that would be hybrids.

im gunan report back to you guys about the jetta when i test drive it
