As some of you know, it's a good idea to have a secondary car to your RWD Rotary powered turbo sports car....so as for me...I had to sell my current DD (The MKI MR2 NA) That I bought on a whim (when the MKII Turbo sold) and take that money and put it towards a cheap DD.

I wanted space for people and band equipment (Cabs), Good MPG (30), decent fun out of the car, but also drivability in all weather (that means AWD, or FWD for snow purposes). All of this for under $3k means: G2 Integra.

I wasn't even hoping to find one so mint and all, but I lucked out. Thursday night I went to NYC and checked out a car from a dealer (bought at the auction). He wanted $3k (Negotiated to $2.8). The car is a Black LS-Special (Leather seats!) With working A/C, PW, P-Moonroof, 4 new tires, new belts, new distr. and wires. It's a manual with 137k miles. Best part was, the car was delivered to my door the next night https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png.

So this will be the car driven all winter, to let the FD sleep in the garage. Spring-Fall the FD will pwn the road 80% of the time, and the Integra will be there for small occasions and crappy weather.

I only plan on getting the stock rims the gs-r models came with (cheap) and lowering it. Already has new speakers and I put in my MP3-cd deck (JVC).

I might try and look for the stock little spoiler at a junkyard too (its a nice accent on the car)

And the comfy interior.

I almost bought a 92 LS, but it was red...and $7K. I'm glad I got my TII instead!

I want to do it right. I heard you should/have to get shocks with lowering springs.

And I do want rims, but am going for GS-R (Type R of that year, as you suggested) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I like how they are tastefull (they come from the factory afterall). They fit the design (probably because they come from factory lol) and don't need exp. tires (14").

But, I understand your concern Frestyle, don't worry, i am not spending big money on this car....its all goin for FD in spring! Woot!
