thats ALL you have? once you change the pistons youve gone pretty far
All of that stuff was pretty cheap. Got most of it on E-bay. I cant afford a turbo, thats probably why I dont have one.
All the work was hard. Didnt pay for any thing except the crap dealin with the fuel system. Spent countless hours under a shop light. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

Where in the heck can I get a three rotor, I'd hate to let go of my engine, but I want a rotary. Where do I get one and how much would it cost? Also if anyone knows, how much would it cost to make it work in a prelude?

please tell me your joking. you seem like a cool enough guy, if you COULD afford to do a 20b powered car, why not put it in an rx7, you can find a good body rx with no engine farily cheap, the odds are, if you can afford to do a 3 rotor swap, buying a new car to drop it in wont be a problem |
oh, i think you should get a 1st gen rx7, strip it, and do a 13b-re swap, plenty of power for a descent price, keep the lude as a daily driver and build a beast of a first gen, doesnt take much to get an fb up there in power with an engien swap due to the overall lightness of the car.
I dont know if I want to get rid of the lude. Im sure I can find a 1st or 2nd gen thats cheap and reliable. But I've allready got so much work into the Lude, Oh heck, I might as well start another project. You'd go with the 1st gen right? I like the 2nd's styling, so If I was going for a swap, I'd probably pick the 2nd gen. Depending on the weight. I suppose the 1st gen is lighter. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif Oh I'm gonna need some help on this.
i like the 2nd gen for looks, suspension and the bumpers/ kits available for it if you want to upgrade in the future.
1st gen is a couple hundred pounds lighter, but if you start pulling the cars apart the difference won't be that noticable. (especially for a 20b) |
I'd go with an FC due to the chassis and suspension refinements.
I've found an FC, so this just might go down!!! YAY!! 20b YAY!!
