If I could find one around here, I'd buy it! Does anyone know about the reliability or perfomance potential of this car's drivetrain? I think there are a couple tuning companies for it... I think its a 1.6 AWD turbo. Anyway, rare as hell around here, limited production car I guess. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

They are ******* sweet cars. I saw one at the TSD rally I ran in a couple weeks ago. Its the same block the 1990-1993 Miatas used, basically, so I'm sure a lot of the Miata aftermarket shiz will throw on there easily.

you can make them fast but they dont handle all that well, on pavement

That's what I was told by the folks at the rally, that it doesn't handle that well on pavement. On the other hand, they said in an off-road rally, they rock the house.

one of my friends is swapping that engine into his miata

Yea, the guy who runs Rotary Performance here in Manassas Va has a daily driver GTX 323...it's modded w/ about 170HP(Correct me if I'm wrong Chris). It's pretty cool, and they are very rare. You should be able to use many aftermarket miata parts as far as the block goes(pistons, rods, cams, etc), but I'm not to sure about the intakes, exhaust and what not due to the car being turbo....

cymfc3s used to have one, and it was fd fast in a straight line, but you had to get used to throwing the steering wheel all the way to the lock and hanging on in turns. the brakes also sucked ass, one good stop and they were gone.
