i got an 85 camaro 2.8L v6 some kid wants to come look at rt today and buy it... awesome. well last time i started it was a week ago.
I go to start it today and all it does is crank over... wont start... so im like, ok the fucker more than likely flooded again. I tanke out the plugs and clean them and crank it over w/o the plugs in to deflood it. i put the -plugs back in and go to start it again.... nothing, it cranks but wont start. I know im getting fuel because i can smell it and i know there was air so im like ok, its not sparking. I take off a plug boot, put my finger on the end of it and crank the car over.... nothing. So now im all like well, WTF!!!!! so i clean off the ignition coil and try it again... no spark. I take off my cap and check the rotor... both in perfect condition. I know the car is timed because i put a new distrubitor in it about 3 months ago and drove it once. Anyone have any ideas????? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif |

I reccomend NOT putting your hands around spark plugs when cranking the car...
Just hold the plug to ground and watch it, make sure you are holding the boot. |
i know... but come on, whats 40,000 volts?
