I told a friend at work i needed a DD with rear seats (baby's due in 2 months) and he told me his brother was selling his 88 Chevy with a 6 inch lift, super swampers, a spare rear end (out of a '01 Avalanche) and some other crap, and the answer to that was obviously NO, it would be harder than hell to carry a car seat up a ladder to get into the truck :P Anyways, i digress, his brother is also selling 2 DSM's (he just bout a brand spanking new chevy (23k$) and a bike (11k$) so he's trying to get rid of all his spare vehicles, now the 2 DSM's are a 95 Eclipse (turbo) and 95 Laser (N/A) for 500$, the Laser has a shitty body but good strong engine, and the Eclipse has a beautiful body but the motor is on it's last legs....I'm NOT getting rid of my 7, (unless some1 walks up to me and hands me 800$ :P), this is my DD, the plan is to take the N/A motor drop it in the eclipse and save all the rest of the good stuff for later (I'm gonna teach my g-friend how to drive a stick in this car, tho she can basically drive the 7, she's not very comfortable in a sports car), and maybe sell some of the things i won't use (the chassis and body) keep all the turbo stuff for later...sound good? O, and they both have to be driven from South Carolina (i live in Missouri), tho i think one will be towed, and the other driven.... :P long i know, but i need an opinion https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

BTW my friend's brother is in the Navy, he wires helicopters and such, and only comes home every so often, so i will prolly have to wait a month after i buy em to even see em.......and the reason i'm not gonna go ahead and drop the turbo and such in, my g-friend will most likely drive it for awhile, if not permanently (anyone want an 1988 Ford Taurus GL in immaculate condition!? blue on blue!) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

You're going to let the woman pilot the 7? You are a brave man. Get yourself a thousand dollar POS and hope for the best. Sometimes you can get old cars that look like **** but run well. Buy from an older woman. They ussually take decent care of their cars.

I taught the woman to drive a stick in the 7 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

I am selling the 7 and getting the 2 DSM's and they're not very old so hopefully that turns out ok...IF they make it thru the hurricane hurtling towards S. Carolina :P
