Finally a car you can call your own |
Thats a hell of car, but IMO its just another monster twin-turbo Viper. Nothing new. I was hoping Hugh Heffner owned it or something.

Still a monster though. It handles well it seems, runs an 8, and gets about 3mpg. Haha. I just thought it was a powerhouse.

He just did a twin turbo Gallardo. 680 rwhp at 7.5 psi.

Hennessey Performance has a twin-turbo Viper for sale on Ebay for $225,000. It claims 1000 hp and
1100 lb/ft of torque at the crank. Now that is a car. Hennessey Viper Check out the link. |
IMO once you've seen one monster Viper you've seen 'em all. Thats why it was cool to see the one thats been build up for D1.

That 1100hp number must be a conservative number for the twins on pump gas, that or just some very modest tuning.
Then again anyone who wants that much power on the street has an self esteem issue. |

Many people buy cars like that for the look that even a Corvette want get you. right, if every since you were a kid, you've loved vipers, you'll buy a viper if you ever have enough money. same for any car and anyone if they have the cash to do it. |
I think that z06 is also almost maxxed out from the factory. While just doing minor mods, such as rocker arms, cams, and deleting emssions gets you close to 750hp....
