GSR = VTEC.

LS = No VTEC.

Rotaryman88 06-12-2003 05:35 PM

GSR = Slow

LS = Slower

i lke the gsr 4 doors. pretty nice car that u can attempt to use for the family. but yes, slow and slower

MyWeaponOfChoice 06-16-2003 10:50 PM

I have to disagree with the slow.. and not the slower..

My GSR [93-2nd gen] can and have walked N/A street ported 13b's that were properly tuned. 1st and 2nd gen's.

A GSL-SE will get out of the hole much quicker than my FWD.. but by the middle of 3rd gear [5500 rpms].. I'm gone.

Shhhh...don't remind people that N/As are slow. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

the RS motor is actually a bored and stroked non-vtec GSR motor....that is why so many people with RS motors are bolting on GSR heads and making very good power.

Everything's better with a turbo.

Unless it's a Ford, then there's no hope.
