Pros: its usefull

Cons: you will want to mod the **** out of it, hence making it useless, lol.

I wonder how many engines and turbos it has had?

Rob x-7 02-10-2003 02:55 PM

those typhoons were like 21,000 new, I wouldnt buy one for everyday, just for weekends or something. You could buy a much newer truck for that money.

DJ Rotor 02-10-2003 03:08 PM

You wouldn't buy that thing as a truck, you'd buy it as a truck-shaped Grand National that just happens to be all-wheel-drive - and as such it is pretty cool, would be VERY fast straight-line although probably hopeless in corners.

i'd buy one of those..... it has a boost gauge on the apillar i think

FikseRxSeven 02-10-2003 03:34 PM

when i was younger and i didnt know about fd's the syclone was my favorite car..... the pick up version of the typhoon

93 R1 02-10-2003 04:36 PM

A friend on mine has a syclone with a t76 on it. Its a bad **********er. Motor was built with all top of the line forged parts and the heads are o-ringed to hold up to like 40psi of boost. Worked trans. valve body, high stall converter, etc....

He's hoping for mid 10's :yum:

r_xplicit 02-10-2003 06:44 PM

yeah, it has a guage, and those things are WORTH THE MONEY. buy it if you can....

they have MAJOR potential. small turbo upgrade and the "bolt-ons" and you have a monster....

my friend has a marlboro typhoon ( rarest foons ). the main problem with it is its a truck. last season he was running his old setup and his truck made well over 650 hp. with 3 people on the street it still lifted the front wheels. for this year it is being somewhat redone with more unmentionable power... it has by the the largest turbo ive seen in my life ( if i find the pic of this girl comparing it to the size of her head, ill post it for yall ). theyre awesome trucks, BUT a MAJOR con is they will NOT tow ANYTHING! 0lbs MAX towing load.

one hell've a badass truck
