On a budget you can easily make 550 fwhp out of one. If you have money flowing out of your rear, you can easily attain 1000+ hp on a stock block.

hey guys, I'm obviously new here, and I'll apologize for bringing this topic back from the dead, but I'm currently staring at an FB shell for way cheap, and I know of a place that i could possibly get an FE/460 BBF (i think it's likely TBI) from an 80's truck. Since this was suggested here I thought I'd hop in and ask, has anyone done this before? anyone got a build write-up? how bad is it to do?
