The original Cooper Mini looks great the way it is(Aunt and Uncle restored one, and are working on a second). I can see modding the engine for more power, but not all that crap.

looks a lot like a renault clio to me i dont know i dont like the style but i admire the craftsmenship, thats some damn good customizing, id just have gone a different way car wise

I like it, kinda. The paint is horrible, and I think they flare the fenders about 6 inches too much. The lines would look cool if brought in a little closer to the car.

I wouldn't mind having a mini for a daily driver if I could afford it. I don't think it's worth the money to customize it like that, but whatever...

You can get a very solid mini for 10k that would be reliable for daily driving. I went all out on mine and paid 18k.

I've never been all that much for mini's anyways.. but if they all looked like that, it would turn me completely off..

Well a large portion of that money is going toward school, the majority of the money. The rest is going toward some transportation, which will be another mini. Since my girlfriend/wifey drives my sportpack, I want one to drive too. I have to have something cool to play with to ease the pain of losing the FD.
