Maybe this is old new to some of you, but I was just reading about this in a magazine. This looks pretty darn similar to an Rx-8 if you ask me.

Yeah, I saw some pic's of it about 4 month's ago, and thought the exact same thing. Chevrolet's new motto - Chevy, we'll steal your design! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png

well, atleast its we'll steal your rotary powered car's design...... FD=C5 and that =rx8
|
whats the specs on that SS?
|
im my memory serves me, 430ish HP out of a LS-6.
I liek it, looks pretty mean, especally from the rear. |
I like it - it looks sleeker than the 8.. but it's still a chevy.

That thing is ugly as hell compared to an Rx-8. The c5 ripped off the fd as mentioned too..

umm... i think all of u are off on who ripped what off... sure the fd's came first, but then again put the cars next to eachother and niehter have the same lines. they took the fd and made it better in every way (except interior QUALITY/ fit n finish)
as for the ss concept, its the same idea, both have massive front fenders that go over the hood lines, and almost a fastback car. but thats where the similarities end.. whats next u saying ford ripped off mazda's fc with their fox bodied hatch's just because they are both hatches and both have a boxy shape? its a styling trend... |
