OK, I love my car, I really do. But I am at my wits end! OK, I got this 240 on the 6th of this month, traded in my 1993 for it....Its a sturdier car, I feel good about it. However, my budget can't take much more of this. Last Saturday I took it into the shop for alignment and an oil change....82.00. Then it was still pulling to the right, turns out i had TWO seperated front tires, so I ended up replacing all 4...381.00 (on credit thank God). Then, tonight when I'm pulling into work I hear the best sound of all....POP! ****! All this rusty water pours out of the bottom of my car, and I have no idea what it is! I searched everything going to and from my radiator, and there is no antifreeze in the water that came out. My car doesn't over heat, and I got it home in one piece (I live about 3/4 miles from my work) But now I have to take my car BACK to the shop to find out what I broke! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif -----not me

goto the junkyard and buy a radiator if that is all that is wrong. these kind of things are normal for 12-13 year old cars.....

maybe it's water broke and it's gonna have a baby car?... like a miata or mini.

but like Jon said, the junkyards near here have a few 240s in them.. a replacement radiator should be easy to find.

Well, if it's having so many problems, buy my 240! It's still for sale haha. That is very wierd though... I've never heard of that before, so you got me. If you can't figure it out in a few days, I'll post it up on my 240 forum and the guys will know.

Ya, the radiator is fine...still full of fluid..what else on the car has water or could have water in it? The water looked REALLY gross. And the thermostat is still fine too......

I know, it was joke. If you actually wanted to, I'd drive it to deliver it. I don't care, I like road trips. Gets me away from things for a while. Like he said, check your resevoir, although neither that nor the washer fluid should have that much pressure to pop like you said.

Rusty looking water hmm? could water just have built up over time, say in the bottom of a door, or in a floorpan in back, or under the trunk or soemthing, then slowly rusted its way thru til it finally just broke? Does the car have AC and does it work? maybe you got a buildup in there? I dont know how the chassis and body panels are pressed for a 240, there may be two layers in the floor pan (or other spot) with a gap in between, and that gap filled up with water, rusted, and burst over time.
