It's up in Skagit county.

Just saw this and thought I'd throw it out there.

Too much work for me, but I love these things.

I almost got a bright yellow squareback, but once i looked underneath and saw the ton of rust that used to be called a chassis, i decided against it

treceb 06-16-2005 02:02 PM

it must have been a daily driven forever cause type3s chassis are 100 times more durable than beetles, for some odd reason.

are those things Front engine/rear wheel peel?

I say strip the interior, build a cage, toss in a 13b and go racing.

but I say that about EVERY car I see.

treceb 06-17-2005 01:54 PM

theyre rear engine/rear wheel drive.....and theres an adapter for a rotary made. but id drop a semi built porsche in one.

Rotarydragon 06-19-2005 10:41 AM

Type III's are darn near indestructable chassis wise. Engine is a bit worse on reliability though even not considering the fuel injection.
