So how many of you guy's own 4x4's and Sporsts Cars? I have my 1986 FC that I am working on, and as it's in bits here and there and waiting on funds andwhat not I went out and bought myself the perfect 4x4 truck.



it's a 1977 Shortbox ford f150 with a 351M in it. Currently got a 4inch suspension lift, and rolling on 33's.

Yesturday I wnet out and bought all new brakes for the damn thing 400 dollars later. but that's new calipers rotors drums wheel cylinders shoes pads adjusters. EVERYTHING! For the brakes, Except new Master and lines.



I am hoping to get another 3 inches under her then putting her on 37's unless I can 40's in a 15inch rim... I don't think they exist, but I will look into it more tomorrow. Tires I am planning on are 37X12.50R15 GOodyear Wrangler MT/R Sweet tire for playin in mud.



The trucks got about 3k work done to it, and all I had to do was go down and pick the tihng up. The box is shot. but the Cab's in semi decent Shape. I plan on putting a Flat bed onto it for a few years till I decide to restore it to original... 77 Short Box Step Sides are hard to come by, but one sweet ass truck...



Anyone got any ideas as to what else I should be planning for this thing... I got the front and back bumpers taken care of. and dual winches, 1 in the front one in the back, a headache rack.... Hadful of tow hooks.



What else should I look at?

I have a Jeep CJ7 and a F-250 super duty.



the jeep I bought with some mods already on it, the Ford is basically stock except a 2" level kit and I put wider rims and tires on it in the summer

The largest engined vehicle I ever owned was a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara with the 2.5 liter V6.



And it was my only 4X4 I ever owned, and the last 4X4 I ever plan to own.

I've been looking in to getting a Jeep for the winter.

I have my 05 Wrangler, which I am loving more now. Warm weather kicks ass!



I would look into some air lockers, and maybe a different front/rear axle set up. Some nice Dana 44's or Dana 60's. And you gotsta get the KC Headlights!!! Just to be obnoxious of course!
