I'm looking into buying a 2003 or 2004 Excursion Limited 4x4. I test drove one today. So now I am hooked. Anyone here have one?

My wife and I just want an Excursion. My father in law has had two and we liked them alot. Desiel? Ha never!! Triton V-10. Gas here in Maryland is average $2.01 for regular unleaded right now. But luckily we are not penny pinchers.

Personally, I hate them. But I guess it's a pretty nice truck.
Be sure to consider what impact the mileage will have on your budget if gas hits $4.00 a gallon. I doubt that beast with a V-10 can get any better than 10 mpg (which is what my truck gets). What will you use the truck for? I would use my "concern" for the fuel economy to leverage a lower price with the seller. I doubt there are too many people eager to buy a gas hog like that right now. I need to find a way to get the average mpg of our "fleet" up right now. The stingiest car we own gets about 23 mpg. |
Buy the diesel and send me the $100 a week you save on fuel.

Oh, and by the way... Let me castigate you on behalf of all the tree-huggers, granola-crunchers, and baby seal lovers. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
