anyone driven any of these hard? i may be buying one that has 20k miles on it for fairly cheap:)

Yeah, my friend had one that I took around the block a bit.
Didn't really get much of a feel for the car cuz it was only a couple right turns and a straight a way. I did feel that the car lacked power ... Then again, when I test drove his car, I used my FD as a DD so take it with a grain of salt... One thing is for sure though, the music was too damn loud. He made the freaking speakers baffle... (ie. good speaker system) so you'll never have to worry about no being able to hear your music over your exhaust. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |
my friend had one that aint that quick for the money paying for it, i think he ended up just trading it in...he thought it was alittle too pricey for what you get

You won't find anything better for the money unless you pay too much for it. I test drove one that was $16,800 out the door (new with all options except ABS or some ****), and it was 10X better than any Honda or Toyota for that price...and it would have given the MS Protege a good run for quite a bit less money.

yeah...the one i'm lookin at is for 12k with 20,000 miles on it, and i found a 04 with 169 miles with the brembo brakes and everything ully loaded or 16k

I've driven one. They're not bad cars if you get the right price... MUST get spec-v or else they're a waste of money. Just don't get cocky like the rest of the SER drivers. :P

yah, theyre pretty decent cars. i raced one tonight in the wrx and ended about 3 cars ahead. But those SE-R owners are pretty cocky.
