I have several goodies for sale that I collected over the past several years for some projects that are now sadly abandoned, thanks to the advent of the Pontiac Solstice GXP =). I'll be sorting through what I have and how much I want for it over the next few days or so, but feel free to ask if I have something that's not mentioned or to make an offer. I have a '80 and a '85 -SE (front-end damage) to part out.

12A longblock, pulled today from my '80 that ran great until parked under cover for the past two years or so while I gathered project pieces and drove a FB. This motor was a replacement at some point, as it has an oil pressure sending unit that the '80 cluster didn't have provisions for (IIRC, been awhile). Everything is on it (AC) except the airpump, which you can have if you wish (it's on a shelf). New plugs, cap, rotor, wires, and ignition cables.

13B (S3) shortblock, minus oilpan although it's still on it for now. Not sure what condition this one is in, as the -SE was wrecked and sitting for quite awhile before I got to it and the 13B did not figure into my plans. Best guess is not good. The person I bought it from said it started running rough, wouldn't climb hills, didn't idle, and so they parked it. I pretty much assumed a blown apex seal but I did peer around with a flashlight and turned the rotors and didn't see any of them missing.

-SE suspension. Complete, although if you want the control arms and e-brake cables you'll have to let me know soon as I'm almost done pulling parts before I junk the cars. The left rear e-brake cable took a wound from a hasty wirecutter that cut the sheath before I corrected the wielder of the cutters.

-SE crossmember and oilpan.

Racing Beat streetport (dual-pipe) exhaust with 12A header, complete. About one year of use or less, and sat another two. The header looks great but the black middle section is starting to develop surface rust. I haven't gotten the muffler off yet, but it looked better than the middle section. I can even throw in some good hanger donuts that I replaced when I put the RB exhaust on, if you ask.

SA carb ('79?), rebuilt. I followed the carb manual and Sterling's instructions and used the recommended kit--can't recall the brand now. It's been sitting in a plastic trash bag for a couple of years now on a shelf. I probably should have looked at it before I posted it =). Anyhoo, assuming it's still the same as I left it, it's super clean and has stainless steel hardware replacing the original bolts and nuts. I think I have the plastic plate that goes between the carb and manifold around too, but I'm pretty sure the gaskets for it are lost.

SA ('79?) intake manifold, stripped down and clean.

Racing Beat aircleaner. Good shape, no filter. Forgot to get the K&N out of the FB before I sold her last year =p.

SA ('80) 5-speed transmission. Bad synchros in 1st and second.

-SE ('85) 5-speed transmission. Dunno how it is internally. Tailhousing and driveline took a hit at some point and broke off pieces of sheathing at both ends of the respective parts. Dunno why anyone would want it, but just in case. If nothing else, I'll open it up and take a look at a tranny's internals for once.

That's the obvious stuff that comes to mind. I think I used the -SE ignitors for my FB that I was daily-driving, but the SA still has at least one good one IIRC (J-107?). If you'd like something off the cars drop me a line at hammmy@hotmail.com and I'll take a look and snap a picture for you. Some of the parts are currently in Gold Bar with the cars, and some of the stuff is in Everett with me which is where all the stuff I've listed specifically will be ending up. I'll be linking pictures and adding prices here soon, so please have patience.

Thanks for looking,

-dave

hammmy 03-12-2007 03:51 PM

Everett, WA.

I'll start appending prices to my OP.

hammmy 03-12-2007 03:58 PM

Hmm, the edit system is funky here.

Anyhoo, $600 for the exhaust.

hammmy 03-12-2007 06:47 PM

The 13B is probably sold as a core for $100.

complete front suspension price on the -se?

-se tranny, how many miles and price.

thanks

I don't want to sell the -SE suspension separately. I'll have pictures and prices up tomorrow now that I have the parts in one place.

I have no idea on the miles on the -SE tranny. In fact, I'm taking it off the market because I really don't think it's in any condition to sell with the damage to the flange around the output shaft due to some unknown impact that affected the other end of the driveline as well, which makes me leery of what could be wrong inside of it.
