Many of you know that I have a family member who is undergoing a transplant. Although I am very worried and concerned, I am also looking forward to the day after the transplant to see my family member reach the potential I knew that she had in her. There were several factors that forced this life-altering decision.

Blue is having the Camden Supercharger taken out, and replaced with a turbo. While she had the supercharger, I never got the power that was purported from the supercharger. The top HP that I ever got was 210 on one dyno test; but after reaching that HP, Blue never seemed to run right, with heating issues, and tuning issues continuously being problems. I have gone through three engines, and still the HP just was not there. To have spent the money for the Camden Supercharger, (along with the engines) and not reach higher HP than that was very discouraging. I have tried a carb setup with a 5in blower, and then changed over to a 7in blower efi/ecu, and still not much of a gain in HP as thought.

However, the more pressing factor was the lack of confidence that if anything should have happened to the supercharger that I would be out in the cold. I do not need to expound on this point but just say that I do not have the confidence that I would have gotten good customer service is something were to happen to my blower.

Good customer service, which brings me to the transplant and the doctors performing the transplant. I am very excited that Corksport is in the process of changing out the supercharger for a turbo. Being one of the sponsors for the Rotor Rally put them high on my list of companies to deal with, and being a full time shop that consistently provides quality work, I felt like they were the best doctors for the transplant. But more importantly, I feel that they understand the concept of good customer service. If you look at other places that have gone out of business, or others who are struggling, I think the bottom line is that they either did not know what good customer service was or forgot how to provide it.

I wish all the Camden owners the best of luck in their long journey. It’s a rough road ahead.

I can hardly wait to have Blue back with her new turbo. I feel like this is the right decision for her and me. Although it has been very painful to walk into her room, and it is empty, I know that when she is back, it will be worth the painful separation that I am experiencing.

Ryan from Corksport will be taking lots of pictures during the changeover. I will post them as I get them, or if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for listening

After hearing all you've gone through, I guess none of us can feel bad about little "unscheduled maintenance" things that happen. I had a rear brake caliper fail this week, so had both of them rebuilt for $119 each... kinda puts a dent in the beer fund, but it's nothing compared to what others here are going through.

But it's still officially winter.. time for mods and stuff. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

The whole customer service thing is great and all, but everyone knows it's not the customer service that really matters. The actual determining factor should be "How much effort do they put into t-shirt selection?". I've yet to see one of thier shirts, so I'll reserve judgement until then.

Welcome to the turbo FB club, Some of us are lagging behind "DAVE", I hope the swap goes smoothly and that you are back up and running soon. The bad news is you won't be able to cook your meals on top of the super charger anymore. The good news is your car will run like it was promised the first hundred times. Looking forward to seeing it.

I should have listened to SonicRat 2-3 years ago...

Well Ryan guess will be needing a few of those shirts. Got any different colors besides white?
