We are shooting for Sunday this weekend. Myself and Cabrio are booked up Saturday. Probably about 11:00 to 12:00. I am hoping to get the new tranny in the 84 and get her back on the road.

Yea, I am going to meet the guy today and pick them up. It's flamingnos from the other forum who lives in Wenatchee. We are meeting at the top of Stevens. He is also bringing a used front clip for me to look at. Mines kinda messed up on top so I might spring for it, if it is in good condition. Should be cool.

I don't have the brakes on yet, because my dad just yesterday finally got around to taking them into work and bead-blasting them. You would not believe how pretty they look right now. The paint should stick wonderfully. I should be able to get them rebuilt and painted pretty soon, but I still need to buy the pads.

All I know is that he was racing out in Monroe (Evergreen Speedway) and was kicking everyone's asses, and so the people (at Evergreen speedway) took his car, and paid him $200. The car is now sitting out there. Andy is pretty pissed too he did all the work on that car for free.



Andy bought dysthymia's old 7 from him, and sponsered a guy to race it.

So how did everything go? Get that tranny in?

Went great installed the new tranny and the stereo. Everything went frighteningly smooth. Even made it all the way home to Sammamish on tabs that expired 3 months ago!



Next up, the 10th AE gets a new tranny!

It will prolly be a month or so as I need to locate a tranny, get it here and I want a couple weeks off from cars, think I may take a trip the ocean or something weekend after next!

Cool. Maybe CABRIO can get his new one and we can do both of them at once one of these days.

I know he put an engine in it from one of his parts cars, but I don't know much more than that.
