RPNW.ORG tech day at Pineapple Racing - Feb 11th, 2006 @ 10:00 a.m. Rotary Power Northwest (RPNW.ORG) is holding a tech day at Pineapple Racing, in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday, February 11th, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. There is no cost to attend and membership in the club is not required. This is your opportunity to ask Rob Golden (Pineapple Racing's owner, expert engine rebuilder and a Mazda Master Technician) whatever technical questions you can think up. If you've ever attended an RPNW tech day or one of his annual lectures at Sevenstock, you'll know what to expect...a 3+ hour brain dump by one of the most experienced rotary gurus on the planet.
Pineapple Racing is at 12838 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97230, halfway between NE 122nd and NE 138th on the south side of Airport Way in the Columbia Pacific business complex. This is directly across Airport Way from Horsepower Freaks and Torque Freaks. We don't have a big sign on the building, but our next door neighbors, Gasket Specialties, does. There is a map at Pinappleracing.com in the "Contact" section. |

I'm also trying to get Blake to move the time up to noon that way I can orginize a drive for all us northenders. I figure we meet at the Federal Way P&R like allways at 8am if it's at noon. If they don't change the time I say we leave at about 7am if it's at 10am. Remember people that it's an RPNW event (like Apple Blossom Festival). |
there is a page 2 here

Thanks to Rob and Blake and the others responsible for this tech day. I drove 300 miles round trip, and didn't regret a second of it. Also it saved the shipping cost on my alt relocation bracket. Who let buick guy in, I needed a translater for him.
Thanks to Pineapple |

Just seeing the way Rob and Blake gave unlimited time to answering any and all questions and even helping out with parts makes me feel very confident of their commitment to quality customer service. I think I'll be contacting them really soon to get on that loooong waiting list. |
