I have never seen an intake like that before, its pretty different. Never know what you will find in Lewis county
|
it is already pre-lightened for racing- you can see the ground through the footwells (major rust)
|
if i only had the money..... that would save me the fun of and time of doing my spitfire RIGHT.
|
my gsl-se i got has a hayes rotary sticker under the hood, wonder if its a hayes motor, that would explain the blown coolant seal...

Now what's up with the Lewis County comment? I live in Lewis County, not really by choice but because I don't make enough to move where I would like to be (Olympia area) so I can be closer to school. Besides my wife's siblings and my siblings live there (very helpful to have family help with how many kids we got). If you take out the meth labs, country music (and the social problems it causes) then it isn't so bad.
The root of all evil in Lewis County is the same as it is anywhere else............. WAL-MART! |

Robert I lived in lewis county for 15 years. So I am well versed in that regard. Infact my mother lives out by Packwood. The comment was based on the weird stuff people do with their cars, mostly a EAST lewis county thing where I grew up. |
at least the fender wells aren't cut out for mudders.....
|
HAHAHA,
When I had to get the car towed from Chris' house the tow guy was from Edgewood(reminds me of Lewis county folk) He was telling me how he had a Subaru Justy with a 4" lift and 33" tires. I was in utter awe. I was a little creeped out to say the least... |
Michellle.... I wasn't taking anything serious. I could care less what people say about Lewis County, I am not a "native" of Lewis County LOL! People do wierd things though, thats for sure. Last wierd car I saw was a lifted Bobcat. Basically appeared that someone had put a Bobcat shell on top of a truck frame. Of course most motorcycles you see around ther area are just converted dirt bikes with signals pretty much duct taped to them. We actually got a guy in town that strapped a weedwacker to his bicycle and has the "wacker" end fastened against his rear wheel. Then he has some type of throttle he made. Really funny to see some guy pass you on the road on a pedal bike that is 2-stroke-lawn-equipment-powered. Takes creativity/drug use/laziness to a completely new level LOL!
|
HA HA HAA now he gets antidefensive.(it's a word now) You're all Lewis county rednecks, even people not from there! Mu Hu Ha Ha Haaaa
|
Anti-Defensive LOL! I guess sarcasm is hard to show online LOL! SO... Is someone going to trade a lawnmower for that thing? I passed up on a free riding lawnmower last week because I had no place to store or use it. Man did that sound Lewis County of me?!... I guess it is getting to me LOL! Next thing you know I will be calling everyone my cousin! LOL!
I sure do laugh a lot at myself too LOL... There I go doing it again! |

The above was my reply and not Michelle's. Though funny enough she live in lewis county for a long spell as well. It wasn't a knock a lewis county but more of an observation. In fact the town I grew up in had this guy named Marty Smeltzer, who fell out of a hay loft and sued the owners of the barn. With his windfall of money he bought a medium sized Ford tractor and thats how he made a living. Unfortunately he also liked to drink, alot and I mean ALOT. Eventually he lost his license. So he started driving his tractor everywhere through town he needed to go including the tavern. So one night he was heading home from the tavern, the local cop followed him for awhile then decided to pull old Marty over. Well he had been down that road before, and decided to try to outrun the cop on his tractor. There was two problems with that, the first was it was a Ford, and the second was, it was a tractor. So needless to say he spent the weekend in lockup. Yes this is a true story. |
Chris - you need to stop disguising yourself as me. I'm proud to say I'm from Lewis County, Mossyrock to be exact.. In fact, bought the rx-7, yes, the one Chris now drives, in the big city of Chehalis - so it can't be all bad. However, I'm glad to say I live in Federal Way now, not such a large percentage of people have the same last name https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

On a different note... Who is the owner of the other primer black FC at South Puget Sound Community College besides myself? You left your driver window slightly down and it was pouring down good today.
