IT'S BACK!!!! THE LARGEST GATHERING OF ROTARY POWERED VEHICLES IN THE NORTHWEST!

RPNW an INWR are presenting the event this year. We're in the beginning stages of planning at this point, so all the details are still being worked out. This year will boast all the excitement of previous years, and maybe more.We have cars and owners from all over Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. We'll have the mobile dyno, the shows, the parades, the banquet, and all the fun you can possibly squeeze into one fun filled weekend.

The packets are in the planning and pricing stage, but will be similar to previous years. Start getting your little hot rods ready.

The website should be up and running within the week, and all updates will be posted on this forum as well as others, so check back often, and please post your comments. WE DO WANT TO KNOW WHAT EVERYONE THINKS.

Also, please remember Sponsorship is the key to making this event memorable and affordable for all. If you know someone who you think should be a sponsor, we can get you (or them) the information. This is an excellent opportunity for a sponsor to get their name out to the members of our family.

This years Rotor Rally will be in memory of Blake Qualley, former president of RPNW, and a true asset to the rotary community.

Come on... Everyone, let us know who is coming. It's tons of fun, wroth all the money. Its a lot of work so we need to know who is interested. Whoever came the year last year we did it. Try to get other people to join. Tell the stories, and how much fun it is. Anyways, let us know if you want to join us. Thanks

rotaryrichard 11-11-2007 01:44 AM

looking forward to it. who exactly is the event organizer ? I'll most likely be heading to Wenatchee on tuesday. Is there anything I can do to help?

bstrange99 11-11-2007 06:32 PM

I really expected more interest than this

rotaryrichard 11-11-2007 07:22 PM

its the same **** as it always has been. You make an announcement to hold an event to far in advance and people are like "meh, thats months from now." you wait to make the announcement within the month of the event and people will say there was not enough notice. The questions that needs to be asked are : Is it to early for the general public to get their panties wet for this. Is wenatchee loosing it's interest and another site be suggested. ( I had another site in mind but I retract that idea and ask for anyone else to make suggestions to the committee.) . So what's up with the lack of responses? This is a large event that really does take a lot of planning and commitment from the event organizers. We need to get behind them and let everyone know that the months of preparation will be appreciated!

dust&taillights 11-11-2007 08:08 PM

Let's rock and roll with this event! There's alot to do and sponsors are what will really make this happen.

Also the sponsors can and will get business from many of the members and anyone who see's the T-shirts with their names on them. That's just part of it all...............................

The whole idea is to have some fun and meet fun people. We all like cars or driving them, otherwise you wouldn't be looking at this forum.

Yes it is next May but who doesn't need to plan? This is to let ya'll know and hopefully some other's out there have a backbone and will participate. What do ya think?

Have a good one! Kerry..............dust&taillights, because that's all you'll see!

bstrange99 11-27-2007 07:15 PM

The website is coming together now. Registration should begin within the next week. Remember, if you want a spot on the Dyno, register early. There's a limited number of spots.

All the links should be working hopefully by the end of this week. We had some problems and had to redo some of the links.

Brian or myself will be posting when all is a go. Welcome to the NW.

The Apple blossom/Northwest Rotor Rally website is up and we are ready for registration to begin. I would encourage anyone wanting the dyno package to sign up VERY SOON, as there are only so many dyno slots available. There are several payment options on the registration page to fit anyones preference. Payment does not need to be made at the time of registration, but it is important to register soon, regardless of your chosen packages, so we have the information we need for shirt orders, etc... DO NOT FORGET to specify you're shirt sizes in the sign up. The Classy Chassis car show and parade forms will be available to us within the next couple of weeks, but isn't necessary for registration, and can be completed at a later date.

http://nwrotorrally.com/

When you go to the website, go to the "Sign up process" page and follow all directions on that page. It's a very simple, and quick process.

Do not forget to call the Red Lion Inn in Wenatchee and reserve your room. You will want to tell them that you want a room in the Rotary Power Northwest room block. You will need a credit card to reserve the room, but you won't be billed for the room until you check into the hotel at the event.

The hotel contact information is: Red Lion Inn, Wenatchee, WA, (509) 663-0711

Please keep in mind that any rooms in the Rotary Power Northwest block that aren't reserved by March 1st will be forfeited back to the hotel, as lodging is very hard to come by for this particular weekend in Wenatchee.

Thank you

RPNW/INWR

Ok it's now January 2008! Who is coming?

There's been many views but very little posts. Let us know.................thanks

unleashed 01-03-2008 08:59 PM

HELLO OF COURSE ME AND THE CHAIN WILL BE THERE OH AND THE CAR

CODE BLUE 2 01-09-2008 03:41 PM

Ok everyone heres the scoop.

I need everyone that is planning on attending ABF to call and make their Hotel reservations, or we will lose the contract if we dont fill the rooms up. Find a room-mate if need be to split the costs.

The number for the Red Lion is: (509) 663-0711. When you call tell them you will be with the Rotary Power Northwest room block. This way you will recieve a cheaper rate. Your credit/debit card will not be charged till the day you check into the hotel, but please do this ASAP, so I know if I will need more rooms, or need to go with less rooms.

I also need to know who will be attending ABF so that I can have an estimate on how many t-shirts, hats, dinners, to order. You dont have to pay right this instant, but please at least get signed up, then figure out when you can pay. You can sign up at the following website. http://www.nwrotorrally.com/

If no one signs up, then we will have no choice but to cancel another year. Lets make this the best year ever.....please get signed up, so we don't cancel.

Follow the instruction on the sign up sheet but......

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me or shoot a question on here. You can also call David Taylor at (509) 599-4773

*We will be updating the website, adding sponsors, the classy chassis form to fill out, and a page on the attendees soon.

Again please get signed up

Thanks

Codeblue 01-09-2008 10:07 PM

I just want to let everyone know, that I'm putting a lot of my free time calling sponsors, making hats, and t-shirts, so this event happens. Also money out of my own pocket, so it would really be helpfull if people could signup, so that I know im not wasting my time.

Come on everyone lets make this the biggest and most exciting year yet.

I see A LOT of people saying they're going, but no one's signing up. WE NEED TO GET SIGNED UP IF THIS IS GONNA HAPPEN. If you've been waiting for the last minute, it's here. We're getting very close to a "do or die" point.

CODE BLUE 2 01-23-2008 09:11 PM

Attention All "hopeful" rotor rally attendees, so far only 13 people have registered for this years event. That's not enough. To make this event happen, we need to have a better idea of how many people are planning to attend.

T-shirts have to be ordered, the banquet dinner needs to be reserved, and dyno slots need to be filled. These orders need to be made in VERY SOON to make sure we get everything in time.

It only takes a minute to register, so PLEASE, if you plan on attending, you NEED to register, so we have the count on what to order. It's not mandatory that you pay immediately upon registration, but you do need to let us know when you plan on making payment.

Also keep in mind that there is no "Rotor Rally reserve fund", meaning we have no big bank-roll to pay for the weekend. The event is funded entirely by package sales, and raffle, and the rest of the expenses are covered by sponsorship, so if you know of anyone who might be interested in sponsoring this, please let us know.

Please register at http://www.nwrotorrally.com/ or if you have any questions feel free to email me at strawburbr@msn.com or call me at (509) 599-4773

Don’t forget to sign up at the Red Lion Inn @ (509) 663-0711. Asked to be booked under the RPNW room block for the cheaper rate.

Please get signed up so I know an approximate.

CODE BLUE 2 03-04-2008 04:11 PM

Ok everyone!!!!

Got 27 more days to sign up for the hotel. After April 1st the Red Lion takes the left over rooms from us. There will be no discount or acceptions after April 1st for the hotel... so get signed up for a room before its too late.

As for packages the deadline to sign up for any of them is also April 1st. April 1st-ish I will be sending things off to have t-shirts made. If your not signed up I cant promise you a t-shirt. At least get signed up so I know how many t-shirts to order.

If you decide to wait to purchase the dinner ticket, it will cost you $35.00 for the dinner, and for the dyno it will cost you a lot more, depending on openings.

So come on everyone springs coming, get signed up before its too late.

CODE BLUE 2 03-28-2008 06:29 PM

LOL ok its me again everyone...

Theres 4 more days to sign up for the Hotel and the Packages for this event. As of April 2nd the hotel rates will go up to $179.00 a night. So I encourage all that wishes to attend this event to get signed up under our room block (RPNW) by April 1st, so you can get our discount at $119.00 a night. Much cheaper to reserve now instead of paying a crazier amount at the last minute. (If they have any rooms left).

Everyone who hasnt sent me their Classy Chassis stuff, I need that stuff by April 1st-sih.

Alrighty one more month or so for some fun times

dust&taillights 03-31-2008 06:36 AM

Hey nice work guys on the ABF Site!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

All the sponsor's info looks great. Everyone should take a look and click each web site to see what the fantastic sponsors have.

Keep in mind, with out sponsor this will never happen................and on that note, with out the help of a certain few, not to mention any names, look who started the thread and look who to contact on the ABF site. If it were not for the folks, this would not be happening.

Thanks to you all! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
