Okay, the date is now official. The next auto-x will be at Boeing Everett on the 29th of February.

THIS HAS NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS!

Registration isn't posted yet as it's some ways off, but just wanted to let everyone know so they can begin to set aside that weekend. Hope to see some people out there, will update as needed.

Pyrrian 02-27-2004 03:43 AM

What time is it? I want to show up and watch for a bit, but I'm not sure when.

isamu 02-27-2004 09:41 AM

Its pretty much all day from 9:30am to 3:00pm or so.

Redwood 02-27-2004 11:41 PM

You should come in the morning for the non-stock cars. They are much more entertaining for spectators since they are, well, not stock.

Of course, both morning and afternoon is full of excellent drivers around here so you're bound to see cool stuff anytime.

Pyrrian 03-01-2004 01:22 AM

Man, I can't believe I missed it. I was planning on going but stuff came up. I really wish I would have made it up. How'd it go?

Redwood 03-01-2004 01:46 PM

It was alright, nothing too exciting. The course was pretty fun and the weather was nice so it was definitely worth it. I wish we'd had a few more runs, but no worries. I still hit my lap goal and felt good about my car in the dry as this is the first event with hot pavement. Looks like it'll be a good year https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

There's supposed to be another one next weekend out at Bremerton, but the registration doesn't seem to be working, so I don't know what the story is on that. Anyway, I'll be there if anyone else heads out.

isamu 03-01-2004 06:51 PM

It's always a good way to spend your day https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png It would of been nice to have another run, but the morning group was huge. I'm not a very good driver and I was a bit squirley on my runs, but it was fun.
