I don't know how many other people do this, but every time i fill up i write down my trip meter, my overall milage, how many gallons i pumped, the date, the price per gallon, and to check that i did put in my premix.

Browsing around on some other forums I found this site: http://www.gasaroo.com/ and just input all the data I had/have for my 90 RX-7 (as ya can tell if you look right now its spammed with stuff from me :p). I just think its an interesting site and would like to see if anyone else does the same and compare my stuff with others.

I logged every tankful with my 626, which was my first ever new car. Nowadays, I rarely can be bothered. I'll check the MPV once in a while, and of course, the Audi has a fancy schmancy computer that calculates mileage.

One thing I've noticed is a big hit since they started forcing ethanol down our throats. Mileage is down at least 10%. Price of the fuel is not lower with the ethanol added. So who's ahead? The oil companies. They sell 10% more fuel at the same price. What a crock!

At least I don't drive a hummer. I know someone who traded an H2 in on a VW New Beetle. The H2 was getting 8 (EIGHT!) mpg.

Well if i was getting 8 mpg i would at least want to be driving something fun. I would rather drive an H1 which is just bad ass. The H2 is too soccer mom'd out.

I am sure there is something wrong with my car, but thats also like 75% city driving. Also according to http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/noframes/6420.shtml a non-turbo automagic gets 19mpg but mine is a manual turbo and those ratings for for a non-turbo automagic. I am sure if I change my O2 sensor and don't **** around while driving I would get 2-3mpg average more. The 15mpg is also the average for the year and some change I have had it.

I dont record the prices but I do check mpg. My 88 convertable averages 18. 12 mpg is my worst and 25 is my best. I was so happy when I reached the 25 for the time. oh yeah I have a manual. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
