i spun out in the middle of an intersection today. anybody swapped a LSD into base model 2nd gen.
|
U can use a Maita Diff, or Get one out of a GTU or GTUS. IF you wanna get a T2 Clutch LSD u have to swap out the whole read end IE tranny, drive shaft, axles, diff. T2 drivetrain kicks ass. But yea simple swap. for the GTU

don't you slide more with lsd?
|
the thing I hated the most about the FC I had was the open diff. my fb handled way better than my FC. You can use a TII diff but you would need a custom driveshaft.
I could have sworn there was someone selling a s4 rear end not to long ago. I would recommend looking for a s4 lsd because they are better than the s5 version (stronger at least). |

I would recommend looking for a s4 lsd because they are better than the s5 version (stronger at least). the s4 are a clutch type and the s5 is a vicious(sp) type. if your going to go out and get one get an s4 the clutch type pwns the vicious type |
or you could just pull the center out, weld the pinion gears together til they look like an artichoke then put the center back in. no more open center.

yeah, but then around
EVERY
turn you get that annoying CREEEEEKKKK
