If he's tuned I doubt it, I weigh twice as much - but it'll still be fun. Hopefully there will be some Honda's to beat

Don't worry my turn will come.

Bump - hope to see some of you out there. I hope to get my modified clutch delay valve on Friday and install on Saturday.

Freeing yourself from the EVIL clutch delay valve?

z-beater 03-22-2006 07:46 PM

lol...what does it do. When I used to drive my Z28 camaro it had an annoying thing that jumped you to 4th when you were shifting in low RPM's from 1->2

It's actually delays the engagement of the clutch...so if you are one of those folks who can't drive one, your shifts feel a little smoother. If you can drive one, it's a PIA because it doesn't engage quick enough thus the motor overrevs and the shift is jerky, especially if you are pushing the car. THe result is that it feels like you don't know how to drive, in particular to the passenger. Luckily it doesn't force me into any other gears and to fix it is pretty cheap.

If the weather is decent michelle and I will be there early in the morning, before they unload all the high maintenance trailer queens.

Anyone else planning on going.?
