Ok so here the deal, my friend rich put an open challenge to race ANY honda that wasn't some sort of tube chassis or single piece front end race car on the street. He was willing to give a 5 car head start to the car on dragradials or 3 cars on slicks. He thought he had something set up, but the honda kids all backed down. I guess they all just talk big.



Basically he asked me to ask my rx7 friends if anyone is around that wants to race sometime this week or this weekend. There is nothing really to this, just that no one has given him a good run in forever, and it seems like there is really no point in building a fast car in this area cuz you have no one to run with. I personally don't really go out to races just cuz of all the bullshit with people betting and not wanting to run heads up etc. Somebody please, I'll go out just to see this. Rich has a talon by the way, the closer to baltimore the better.

sweet, the race with that honda is going to be this saturday down in manassas after much bullshitting from the honda kids. The final conditions are 3 car head start for the honda on slicks, I will try to get a video up unless any of you guys want to roll out there to check it out.



loudazzrx7: haha, I'd love to see this mustang, I grew up on domestics when i was in highschool. My friend and I have a little bit of common sense so its safe to assume he isn't going to be racing any 7 second mustangs for money. The whole point of this was to see a race where no one actually wanted to get a head start etc so we could actually have a RACE for once instead of all this bullshit that I am told usually goes on. That being said, if you guys want to come hang out you are of course welcome. Is there a spot for domestic guys in the baltimore area? Every time I've gone out to races in the area, most people are scared to even run an LS1 with boltons. I'd like to watch some people that are actually fast for once even if all my friends are totally out classed. (no one I know is running single digits with a street car)

haha, the whole point of this was that honda people are pussies and that even with a 5 car lead they didn't want to run, which I thought was pretty insane (i mean come one 5 cars????). I think everyone here probable knows some guy that works at a shop that has a sub 9 second mustang. I know of at least a few, so you ain't showed me **** yet. I'm sorry if i came off like a dick in my post, that was not my intention however it seems to have been your point since you joined this thread. I know a low 11 second talon isn't the fastest thing out there, how could it be? But i see barely any other daily driven cars in this area that even come close, my roomate runs mid 12s and I've never seen him beat either. Not trying to start some sort of immature internet battle over this, just looking to have some fun. I think everyone would want to see a video of say....ernie vs rich, but who the hell cares about seeing rich get his doors blown off by some shop's mustang on his way to work? I sure as hell don't. Anyone who builds there own car in their own garage and traps over 125mph has my respect, especially if they drive it to work every day.

Your right no one wants to see a talon get waxed by 30 cars in the 1/4--by a mustang.lets see his speed trap is 125 and Brians is 181--yep thats probably 30 cars.I see the best of both worlds come to the shop 11 second prowlers,jason hunts low 10 second crx---street driven--theres a damn supercharged vette there now that runs low 9s,-----But i would really like to see there <unbeatable> as they call it get whipped on the street,its an 85 mustang fastback,302 small block with a goddamn turbo as big as the motor--lol---daily driven---and runs 8.20s--thats right 8 .20s now what the hell around here can f with that on the road.
