This is just a feeler thread to see how much interest there is for a tuning seesion ON or AROUND NOVEMBER 11-12 at Car V2 in Wilmington Delaware. I will need five deposits to make it official, but prefer anywhere between 6 to 10 so we can make it a two day event. After the tuning session last weekend I have received some interest in another session. Also please do not wait until the last minute to get your deposits in, as I can not guarantee you a spot.

Tuning would begin at approx. 10 A.M. and run until everyone is complete, unless I get enough people for two days (7 or more). The price for Steves services are WELL worth it, I haven't seen a single person who has regretted spending the small fee to KNOW your car is running right and making the power it should. Anyone worried about running lean with the new Ethanol fuels should consider a re-tune as well. So here are the numbers everyone wants to know.

Steve kan tune

Deposit w/paypal: $105

Deposit w/check: $100

total Tuning price: $350 - $100 deposit = $250 day of (Cash)

Car V2 dyno pricing

hourly: $130

Most cars only take about an hour, and even if you run over they're not too strict about it. The time starts when Steve starts tuning. The dyno we will be using is a DynoPak as opposed to a dynoJet or Mustang dyno which are on rollers. The DynoPak actually mounts onto the hubs of the car and is much safer and more accurate.

Cash is preferable for dyno time and day of payments. Dyno tuning is not required, but is recommended. Compared to street tuning, dyno tuning offers safety, ease of diagnostics and you get to see what kind of numbers your car is actually making! Also you get to stand around while Steve does all the work Street tuning you have to risk car problems on the road, a ticket or worse, an accident.

A few things you should consider doing before coming to the tuning session

- Oil change

- Coolant flush

---Replace spark plugs--- (A must)

- Fix all fluid leaks

- tranny and diff oil change

--- Compression check --- (also a must)

please please please have this stuff done before you come to the session. I don't want to see people changing your engine in the parking lot half the day. If you wait until you arrive to change your plugs thats fine, but make sure you do it shortly after you arrive.

Depending on what ECU you have and what you want to turn the boost up to make sure you have an adequate MAP sensor. 3bar GM sensors will be available if ordered ahead of time through me. The price for the sensor is $100 and if you'd like it installed I can do that for an additional $25.

Also, please remember Steve is here to tune not fix your problems. He can fix minor stuff but we don't want to spend two hours trying to diagnose a problem. If we run into a problem with your car Steve will look at it, but after a few hours he may start charging for his time.

I hope I don't sound too strict, but sometimes I have to set some gorund rules so it's not total chaos the day of tuning. Then people would be really unhappy.

haha, you're right Jio...I looked for a pic of my car on the dyno but couldn't find it on this computer so I had to use the pic on Car V2s website. Your car on the dyno will do just fine though https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
